I don’t know much about demons.  I’d prefer to live my life blissfully unaware of the darkness that surrounds us.  I wrote in a previous blog that I don’t really want to prepare for battle because that means there really is a war.  But there is a war.  I have no choice in that.  But I do have a choice as to how I prepare.  How fully I want to participate.  Whether or not I want to be involved in forcefully advancing God’s kingdom.

“For since the days of John the Baptist until now, the Kingdom of Heaven has been forcefully advancing and forceful men lay hold of it.”
Matthew 11:12

And I choose yes.  I choose to be marching forward confidently and boldly, spreading Kingdom with every step I take.  Last week, our team came face to face with darkness.  You can read other Quake and Transformer posts to get the details.  But what matters is that we had on the Full Armor of God and were able to meet those attacks with confidence because we are Assured Victory.  Who’s afraid to fight a battle that is already won?  Who wouldn’t want to fight that battle?  Who wouldn’t want to claim the Victory that is already ours?

What am I doing out here in the Philippines?  I’m loving on some kids.  I’m pouring sweat and prayers into a new Children’s Home for those kids.  I’m speaking life over a woman named Rosario.  I’m becoming a family with my teammates.  But most of all, I am forcefully advancing God’s kingdom.
