The day started off with much skepticism on my part. But by the end of it i had been completely blown away by God. He shattered any lingering doubts on my part about His power. I believe I had put the all-powerful God of the universe in a box for years. My understanding of His power rose to such new heights in a mere hour or less.

The girls on my team and I started off this past saturday with much prayer mixed with a few doubts. But within the next hour our faith had grown so much. God began to give us each pictures in our minds, and even though we were still doubtful, off we went to see what he would do. Less than an hour later I was leaving Ingles grocery store with more faith in my God than I may have ever had. The entire day was filled with God revealing himself to us in so many ways. From multiplying our bread (it was buy one get one free!) and leading us to feed a trailer park with it, to giving us directions to where we were supposed to go, he was faithful in more ways than we could imagine.

I could not imagine a better team of girls to travel the world and share the love of God with than the ones that I have. We witnessed and bonded over the faithfulness and power of God, and also over the wildlife we discovered in the middle of nowhere Georgia. God must have wanted to spice up our day a little more than He already had. We had not even left Georgia, much less the country, and we have already seen camels, zebras, and llamas, along with the worlds largest rodent. It was a day full of laughs, bonding, and the power of God, and one I will remember for the rest of my life.

bruce is my favorite camel ever. granted he is the only camel i have ever talked

to, but still my favorite. just look at that smile. how can you not love him.
