Oh India.
Walking into this month, I wasn’t very excited.
If I’m being completely honest, I would tell you that if we could have skipped India I would have been fine with that.
I wasn’t excited about the hot weather, spicy food, long clothing, eating with my right hand because it is not appropriate to use your left hand for anything, using a squatty potty, having only a bucket shower to bathe in, being stuck in a village far away from civilization, and basically everything about India.
It’s funny how when you’re not excited about something, God likes to show up big time.
Well He did this month.
He showed me how hospitable Indians are.
He showed me how much He loves these people.
He showed me that this is His country.
He showed me miracles.
He showed me unconditional love.
He showed me what true community looks like.
He showed me that orphans are His children.
He showed up big time!
