28 Moves In 29 Years.
Change is a word I have used on a daily basis my entire life.
A world without change is a far and distant reality to me.
Some people fear change, yet I thrive for it.
Instead of looking at change as what I have to lose, I look at it as what do I have to gain?
When life gets comfortable, I start to get uncomfortable.
Change has been the only constant in my life.
When people ask, where are you from? I laugh.
It has always been a question that I don’t know how to answer.
I have never thought of this as a bad thing, or blamed my parents, or wished I lived in the same house my entire life.
I looked at moving as a way to become adaptable, to learn new things, to meet new people.
But I was still sad. I wanted a real “HOME”. Like everyone else had.
But I have realized something recently.
I always struggled with the thought of myself as homeless, as in, not having a place I can truly call home.
There was something I was completely missing the whole time. That is, I do have a home.
Christ will make His home in your hearts as you trust in Him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. Ephesians 3:17
I now have a whole new perspective on home is where the heart is.
My heart is with Jesus.
My home is in my God, my Savior, my Lord.
I was never homeless, I just didn’t know my God, Praise the Lord!
Wherever you go, I will go; wherever you stay, I will stay. Ruth 1:16
