A lot has happened in the last month+ of us being back in Kenya! We have suffered some crazy jetlag, celebrated lots of birthdays, had great reunions, have had a bunch of different visitors, hosted a team of 40 people, and have just been living life here again. It has been wonderful.
Our team is currently Matt, Jason, and myself. Jason joined our team recently and came back with us in February. It has been great having him here!

Our discipleship program, 61project, is still running and is going strong. Since we put most of the former kids in school (about 19 are currently in high school) we have a brand new class of secondary-school-aged kids. Along with our two leaders, Sylvia and Roda, we also have a new volunteer teacher! Her name is Joyce Nyambura. She is 19 and is wonderful and sweet and perfect for all the little ones in our program.

This past week our team hosted a World Race Parent Trip. These World Racers are 20-somethings who are on an 11-countries-in-11-months journey and have been overseas for eight months. Their parents met up with them to join them in ministry for a week. We hosted this team of forty here in Kijabe, Kenya.

Making new friends during outreach
The World Race Parent team working on building Joyce's house with our friend, Steve
We had four different ministry sites: building our friend, Joyce, a new house (which I will soon write about because it's an amazing and cool God story), helping out with construction and spending time with the children at our friend’s orphanage, and evangelism in two different villages. God showed up big time. People entered into His Kingdom and became His sons and daughters once they were introduced to His love and grace, people were healed, and we were all changed. God’s Kingdom came and is coming. God is moving here in Kenya, and it is humbling to be a part of.
