This past week, team Anastasis traveled to the remote village of Lisa, Romania. When we arrived to our mud house covered in plaster, we had no running water, barely any food, a wasp infested outhouse and crickets in our beds. We laughed, it was going to be a good week!

This week has been my favorite race week yet. Who knew living so simply could be so much fun! There were some minor issues that absolutely had to be resolved for example the infestation of wasps, the scarcity of food, and most importantly the bugs in my bed. But we had wifi, plenty of potato chips and I found an old bottle of hidden valley ranch dressing in the refrigerator.

Living the dream.

The believers here are few in number. The number one prayer request is for more people in the surrounding villages to come to know Jesus, next to God's provisions for the family. Right now it is harvest season where the average worker makes about $13 a day. I'd say he's still doing better than some parts of the world.

All in all. I love Lisa 😀 Lisa needs full time missionaries willing to live among the people, encouraging, teaching, and serving them throughout the year. Who knows. Maybe Lisa needs you?
