You have no idea the timing that went in to what happened this morning! God totally brought me to tears. I was on my phone looking at Facebook when I saw a team member post about how $2,700 appeared in her account overnight! I thought "Wow!" God can really do amazing things. I was so excited for her but then a twinge of jealousy crept in. I silenced it immediately and said, "No! God does things in his own timing." I got on my account and saw that only $120 came in since I last looked at it. A little discouraged, I re added the amounts I have in my personal bank account with the amount in my World Race Account and Threads of Hope. I realized a couple days ago when I thought I only had $345 left to raise, I actually need $645 more. I silenced the jealousy and discouragement immediately. I know God is faithful. I smiled because I knew somehow God is going to provide whether it's sooner or later or right up till the day it's all due.

Of course in the back of my mind I still wanted to see God's hand in everything but I refused to grow dis hearted. I will trust in him. No joke, a few seconds later I get a call from my missions pastor back home. I'm literally crying right now. laugh  God is SO amazing. You have no idea! The Missions committee committed to give me a total of $3,000!!!  WHAT!!! What kind of timing is that!

It’s one thing when we lose faith in God, get mad and then God follows through anyway despite our lack of faith. It still leaves us in a sense of awe but we feel humbled and silly for not trusting in Him. It’s another thing all together when you keep the faith and God rewards your faithfulness in Him!! Instead of focusing now on how silly I am for doubting, I can rejoice and know that He truly is a loving and awesome God!

Fundraising is scary but not so much when you realize everything belongs to God anyway!

Thank you so much to all who have partnered with me so far in this journey. We are still in the beginning of the Race and God is already doing great things! I hope these moments remind me to always trust in Him and not lose heart. Our faith will be rewarded!

Let us run with endurancethe race that lies before us, keeping our eyes on Jesus, the source and perfecter of our faith (Heb 12:1a-2b)
