I’m in month 4 ALREADY! Time is flying by…this month I am going to be in Nicaragua.

With that being said, I want to share a few fun facts about what a world race travel day entails…

  1. Water. Whether that be H2O, sweat (in places you never thought you could sweat) or tears from laughter there is some form of water involved in a travel day.
  2. Shut eye. This may be a relatively comfortable sleep on a bus OR your eyes no longer physically staying open because they have been open for far too long.
  3. Weight. Oh man, you will figure out all the weight you need to drop…in your bag when you have to take three public buses to get to your new ministry site. Chaos.
  4. Community. It’s my favorite to get to meet up with my whole squad and learn about what they have experienced and grown in the past month.
  5. Laughter. I have NEVER laughed as hard as I have on WR travel days. We laugh at how boujee my team is with all that we have (including bags of snack food and fluffy cuddly blankets). We laugh at us trying to carry all of this (including a VERY overweight pack) through the public bus lots. As much as we laugh at ourselves I hope we can help make others laugh as well!

I could not be more thankful for the people I get to experience these days with!
