On June 28th, I will be heading to launch for the World Race. This date is less than 90 days away (87 I think), so I thought that I would share the list of things I hope to do on the World Race. The World Race is a once in a life time opportunity. While I travel the world I plan to embrace every moment because I may never return to these countries. There will be so many amazing moments on the mission field, but these are the amazing opportunities I hope to experience in each of these countries.
In South Africa I would like to:
- Ride an Ostrich
- Catch a wave off the coast of Cape Town
- Dive with Great White Sharks
- Hang my feet over the edge of Lions Peak
In Swaziland I would like to:
- Stand under the Matenga falls
- Look off the top of Execution Rock
- Go to the Annual Reed Festival
- Experience the BRAAI food and culture
In Mozambique I would like to:
- Visit the Palace & Chapel of São Paulo
- Sail to the Fort of São Sebastião
- Capture a Rainbow at Victoria Falls
In India I would like to:
- See the Taj Mahal
- Set foot in the Madurai Temple
- Camel trekking through the desert
- Visit the ruins of the city of victory “Viayanagar” (also known as “Hamoi”)
In Nepal I would like to:
- Ride an Elephant through Chitwan National Park
- Eat at Southern Comfort in Kathmandu
- Fly around Mount Everest
- Hike to the Gokyo Lakes
In Vietnam I would like to:
- Visit the ancient town of Hoi An
- Crawl through the Cu Chi Tunnels
- Cruise around Ha Long Bay
In Cambodia I would like to:
- Visit the Cambodia Killing Fields
- Eat a spider
- Grave rob at Ta Prohm
- Take a boat to the floating village
In Thailand I would like to:
- Pet a tiger
- Cross the Bridge at River Kwai
- Visit the Grand Palace
In Guatemala I would like to:
- Hike to through the jungle El Mirador or Tikal (the Mayan Ruins)
- Relax on the black sand beach of Monterrico
- Swim in el Lago de Atitlan
- Stand on Pacaya the active volcano
In Honduras I would like to:
- Raft in El Rio Cangrejal
- Climb Copan (the Mayan Temple)
- Snorkel in the Punta Sal National Park
- Walk around el Lago de Yojoa
In Nicaragua I would like to:
- Ride the waves of San Juan del Sur
- Paddle boarding in Lago Nicaragua (to see the fresh water sharks)
- Visit Nuevo León y Antigua León
- Go Valcano Boarding
This is just a list of all the fun stuff I want to do on my off days. There is so much more to this trip and the adventurous stuff. My next post will be the things I want to experience while on God’s adventure. These will be the experiences that will be most memorable, they will be the experiences that change my life.
