Two hundred days ago I was still in America.

Two hundred days ago my biggest struggle was saying, “good bye.”

Two hundred days ago my back pack weighted forty-nine and a half pounds.

Two hundred days ago my support system was smaller and my circle of best friends wasn’t as big.

Two hundred days ago I was jumping into the abyss – the unknown.

Two hundred days ago I was just leaving.

Two hundred days ago I was different.

Now, In two hundred days I dropped 15 pounds from my pack.

In two hundred days my skin turned brown from the sun.

In two hundred days I made new best friends and connected more with my old ones.

In two hundred days I became gentle.

In two hundred days I developed discipline.

In two hundred days I met a million strangers and in twenty-five days I made them friends.

In two hundred days I stepped out of my comfort zone.

And in two hundred days I found more Jesus than I’d ever seen before.

In two hundred days I changed. In two hundred days I can’t recognize myself anymore.

But, In less than two hundred days I’ll be back in America.

In less than two hundred days my friends will be spread across countless states.

In less than two hundred days my backpack will be empty in a closet.

In less than two hundred days all the old temptations will be back.

But in two hundred more days I will have more Jesus than now.

In two hundred more days I will still be gentle.

In two hundred more days I will still be dedicated.

In two hundred more days I will continue to change.

In two hundred more days everything will look different.

But in two hundred more days, I’ll still have the same mission and the same Jesus.
