This may come as a shot to some, but I’m not going on the World Race to change the world.
I’m going on the World Race to change people or as my pastor likes to say, “to change the world for one person.” But as another surprise, the people I expect to be most impacted are not the people in Albania, Bulgaria, Romania, Turkey, Swaziland, South Africa, Botswana, China, India, Mongolia, Nepal. The people I expect to impact the most during my trip are people in the United States.
Yes, I am going on the World Race to have an impact in YOUR LIFE!! I’m hoping to inspire you, to move you, to teach you. It is for this reason, I am going on the World Race.
I want to share my experiences with you so that you can learn from the things I’m doing and experiencing. I want to share the moments that God reveals himself to me to help inspire you to join His movement. I want to share my heart breaking over things I witness around the world to help move your hearts to help people too. I want the stories I tell and the things I experience to have an impact on your life.
This trip isn’t about me. It has nothing to do with me. I am a tool – a tool God will use to change people. The people I am most looking forward to reaching are the people in my own community! I am fulfilling God’s command for my life – I am reaching the ends of the earth, but through my blog and the things I share, I will also be reaching the people who read them and with whom I share them.
I am going on the World Race for YOU!!! To encourage you. To bring you hope. To show you love. And to help reveal God’s greatness to you through the work I do around the World. While I am reaching people all across the globe, I hope to also be touching your life.
I am going on the World Race and I am spending 11 months in 11 different countries but I am going to be advancing the Kingdom in 12 countries!
