I have a lot of updates to share with everyone!! Some of these updates are really really exciting!
What I am doing in South Africa:
On July 1st, I am catching a plane to Jeffrey’s Bay, South Africa! I will be traveling for over 24 hours 🙁 to get to my first ministry location!
Jeffrey’s Bay is a coastal city. My team and I will be staying in a guest home. No tents month 1! Hooray! There are many ministry options with the host we are staying with. Though we have an idea of what we will be doing, I won’t share the details because things could still change. Part of being a missionary is going with the flow.

For the Children:
There are 2 ways you can share my trip with your children. Both are on Instagram:
Moose on the Loose is an Instagram where I will share images with short captions of my stuffed moose – Moosie – who is traveling with me around the world. Moosie will share images at both ministry sites and tourist locations. Moose on the Loose is a great way to show children what I am doing- or what Moosie is doing. He is geared toward younger children. Find Moosie on instagram @_Mooseontheloose
Flat Friends are two flat children similar to Flat Stanley. They are named Flat Emily and Flat Bob. They are going to do ministry with me. They will share photos and videos on instagram @Flat_Friends. Emily and Bob will not only share what they are doing but also why. The Flat Friends are a good way to help teach your children about global missions.
But, the Flat Friends care about missions in the states too! They will also share ways for children to help in their community, too.

FULLY FUNDED!!!
I am so grateful for everyone’s support! I am on the verge of tears. This is such a blessing to leave without the need to continue fundraising. I really do not have words to express my gratitude. So, here is a picture:
