Hey everyone!
So much has gone on in the past couple weeks it’s just crazy! I had my fundraising dinner and it was a huge success! Thanks to everyone who came out to support me and a huge thanks to those that helped in any way!! Also, my church is amazing, and had a garage sale where they made $1500 and donated it all to me. So much work was put into that, and im so grateful! AND THEN, the women’s group in our church decided to take that number from $1500 to $2000! God is good! And He makes beautiful people!
I didn’t get to mention it, but I made my goal for eating the dang tarantula in Cambodia! Literally the day of the deadline for that goal, the church garage sale made $1500! So that right there did it. But I also had a lot of awesome people contribute to that! So thanks a lot, I’m eating a dang spider!
Right now I am at Midway Airport in Chicago and will be boarding my flight in about 25 mins to head down to Gainesville, Georgia for Training Camp for the World Race! Some people are thinking that I’m actually leaving for the Race today! Dont worry if I didn’t say goodbye yet! Its only training camp! I’ll be in Georgia for 11 days for preparation for my life next year on the World Race! I will be able to meet all of my squad, and from what I have heard from others that have gone to training camp, it’s a huge growing experience. And God is on the move in all of our lives, so I know this is going to be amazing!
I wish I had more time to write, but I’ll leave it short and sweet and let you know all about how Training Camp was in a blog when I get back!
