Today, what I thought 10 months ago was close to impossible, actually came to life.

I’m about to brag HARD on God right now.

I’d like to announce that as of today, I am FULLY FUNDED for the World Race!!

God has been showing me so much in this season of my life. And I will say that I have been struggling a lot spiritually since I got home from Training Camp. The devil has brought so much discouragement into my life, and has been attacking me with it within my spiritual walk, and it has been difficult. I had a bad night last night, feeling discouraged, distracted and feeling like I wasn’t hearing the Lord. I cried out to God and asked Him to help me to see and hear Him better. I asked Him to take the distraction and discouragement I had been feeling, and turn them into something beautiful.

And He did just that.

Today I got an email saying that the last amount of money that I needed, which was $848.00, had been donated to me by a church that I do not go to, and to a church whose Pastor I had only had the privilege of chatting with a few times on Facebook messenger. God is working in the hearts of people I do not personally know, He is working in the hearts of people close to me, and in those that are acquaintances. I am OVERWHELMED.

Before Training Camp our squad decided we were going to start praying BIG prayers. And I remember thinking about fundraising, and thinking that a big prayer for me would be to be fully funded for the World Race before Christmas. So I started praying that prayer, not really even believing that it could happen. It was $17,017! That’s a lot of money. But the Lord has worked in and through the hearts of so many people. And I truly cannot even explain how blessed I am by all of you for your prayers and financial support.

Every time I doubt the Lord, or doubt His call on my life, He reminds me of His POWER and UNFAILING LOVE.

This has been THE craziest time in my life. Asking for money is the hardest, and most intimidating thing I have ever had to do. But God has worked wonders in this whole fundraising process. To say that I am grateful is an incredible understatement.

I wish I had some profound words to say, but I’m kind of speechless at the favor and love the Lord has blessed me with. Praise God!

What now?

I leave January 8th for Atlanta, Georgia where my parent’s will join me to go to Launch! After our launch we are off to INDIA!!

I cannot believe that I applied and was accepted in March, and now we are THIS close to leaving. The time has flown by!

To those of you that have asked if you could still support me financially for gear, or for things while I am on the field, you are angels. However, if you would like to do that, know that if you try donating to my blog, I will not receive that money. Since I am now fully funded, any more money that is donated to my blog will go to the Adventures in Missions organization. So if you feel called to continue to give to me, just know it would have to be given directly to me and not to my blog.

You all have taken such a huge part in this. Please know that I may be the one going, but you have played a HUGE part in getting me there. And you are ALL doing this WITH me.

Also, a huge shout out to my Ma for always helping me with fundraising, and keeping track of funds and just always being willing to help with all that goes into this. My parents have both been great with this process. But my mom has done so much. Love you, Ma!

I love you all so much, and thank you from the bottom of my heart for your prayers, thoughts, encouragement, and funds. I could not do this without all of you.

I hope you all have a very MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Peace and love,

Keel

If you’re wondering why the fundraising bar hasn’t moved to fully funded, it takes a few days to process!
