So I just got back yesterday from a great vacation with my sister and my mommom. We took a road trip up North to Newport, RI, Bar Harbor (Acadia), ME, and Boston, MA (with a stop also in Salem). The trip was so fun, patience building, beautiful, filling, and humbling. My mommom and I butt heads a few times (usually my fault), but she was so forgiving and loving!! She showed me how much God loves me by just loving me even when I was being a turkey.

Here is a quick overview of some things we saw:

Newport, RI

The Breakers (a Vanderbilt…I mean my mansion)

My beautiful mommom and I at our mansion

My gorgeous sister, Shanna

Acadia

Acadia. Shanna and I climbed up this giant rock over crashing waves and a dangerous rocky thing called the Thunder Hole. We sadly saw no thunderous waves come through there 🙁

We went on a boat ride in Boston because my mommom likes history. On this boat it began POURING! It was lightening and thundering right over the city (you couldn't even see it from the boat). It was my favorite part of the day!

Shanna, George Washington, and my cutie mommom!

This trip was so fun, but the whole time God began speaking to me through some scripture in 1 Corinthians. I have been praying about his power and what it means to have his power. God is the same God as he was back in the day. He still performs miracles, does crazy things with nature, does things we claim impossible. I want to embrace his power and he has been getting me ready to embark on this adventure.

First He encouraged me because I could not imagine myself being a true instrument of God doing all that 'crazy' stuff you only hear about. It is written in 1 Cor. 1:26-28

Brothers and sisters, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. 27 But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. 28 God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are

But this is what really got me…

The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God…What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us (1 Cor. 2:10,12)

Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst? 17 If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person; for God’s temple is sacred, and you are that temple. 1 Cor 3:16-17

GOD'S SPIRIT LIVES INSIDE OF ME! His Spirit knows God completely, and He lives in me! He is completely God! We can learn about God through Him (yes the Spirit is a Him and not an it). How AWESOME! God's power lives inside of me!

Look out world I got a force inside of me that is ready to do some work!
