Guess who is back? Yep that would be me! I am back to good ole' USA soil.

I just got back from Europe traveling with my sister and then my friend Brin. We traveled around, put the Rome in romance, and ate our fair share of gelato…we literally walked across cities and would make it an event to make sure we tried all the best gelato places in Italy! We walked into every pastry shop we saw and France definitely wins the pretty pastry award.

Macarones (the best we had)

The macarone experience, but we definitely had better

It was an awesome gift to be able to travel through Europe after the race. Some of the transitioning was really tough going from African race living to European vacationing. I had some realy tough days of realizing how rich I and probably every person reading this is. Lets put it this way, if you have any sort of bank account YOU ARE RICH! I would buy things and think about how I could be using that to bless someone else. I need to find the balance of using my blessings to bless others and also myself without feeling guilty.

We met Obama at Obama Bar in Barcelona

So now I am home. I slept in my own bed and unpacked my bag for the last time. I got to drive my car and bought food that I want to eat. Not much has changed except my living room is redesigned, I have a new quilt on my bed, my clothes I used to wear everyday are now heaven, there is a new hospital, a Sonic, and Wendys renovated their building in my town, my friend's kids are walking, talking, and have hair, there is a stuffed postal bear on my dresser, and my dog got fatter.

My dog is really weird. We got him from the SPCA and was probably abused. It took him years to get used to people, especially men. He likes to hide in the shower during parties at our house and jumps out at the people going to the bathroom. He hasn't changed and is still suffering from some sort of dog mental health issues.

Life is more than the American Dream…that dream only leads to never being satisfied. Live your life, enjoy it, and live freely!
