Since my first mission trip in the 8th grade to Nicaragua with my family, Jesus has been leading me to a life in missions. Bringing 500 bibles to an island that didn’t have any, going door to door to share the gospel and share in fellowship is what Christ calls us to do no matter where we are.

In March 2015 my family and I spent a month in Guatemala serving in the Canica Orphanage, working daily with 32 kids who had truly suffered in their lives, yet they rejoiced constantly.

At the end of that trip I felt God calling me back to serve him. I spent the summer right after I turned sixteen in Guatemala working in the orphanage without my family. Every single day I spent at the orphanage I learned about Christ’s powerful love for his children. I saw Christ work daily in these kids, kids like Josué who lost both of his parents when they were brutally murdered on a bus coming from Guatemala City, God eventually brought him to Canica where he felt the call to become a pastor.

Ever since that trip I have been waiting for a call back to the mission field. In July 2018 I heard that call again when Adventures in Missions announced a new route for the World Race starting in June 2019.

The World Race is an 11-month Christian mission trip that travels to 11 different countries. During this time, we will be completing ministry work such as VBS camps, construction projects, evangelism outreach, praying for the sick in hospitals, and more. The unique part of the World Race is that it is not just a mission trip, it is designed to be a discipleship program that will help launch each and every member into their specific kingdom calling.

This once in a lifetime opportunity will push me out my comfort zone daily and teach me to speak out the Gospel to all nations. Matthew 9:37 says “Then he said to his disciples, ‘The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore, pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.’”

I know many of you have considered going on a trip such as this but whether it was the timing, waiting for Gods call, or something else that kept you from going, let me be your hands and feet in the mission field. I feel God calling me to be a laborer in his harvest, to spread the love of the gospel to these 11 countries.

Like most other mission organizations, World Race participants are required to fundraise financial support. To leave fully funded on June 4th, 2019 I need to raise $19,200. This money will cover all of the field expenses during the 11-month trip including travel, accommodation, food, and more. As I take this huge leap of faith in trusting the Lord, would you prayerfully consider donating in one or more of the ways I describe at the end of this letter? Any and all support is appreciated!

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to send me a text or give me a call at (231) 620-5803. You can also check out my personal fundraising blog at kearstenfrusti.theworldrace.org and subscribe to follow my journey!

Thank you so much for your support and prayers during this time!
