Well I have arrived safely in Kitale, Kenya.  Last week we spent two days in Chisinau, Moldova. Then we traveled to Romania for a couple of days of debrief. We just spent time worshipping our heavenly father and had some team changes. Then we left for Nairobi, Kenya where we stayed till Thursday.  I can’t believe that we are already at the Africa part of the trip. I will admit that this is the part I have been most apprehensive about but I know God is going to do amazing things in these next three months.  As I think back on Moldova or Tranistria and what my team experienced there my mind goes back to one of the last services that we had the privilege of being a part of there. It was a prayer service and during it they prayed over our two teams and over the rest of our journey.  What I remember most about that night was an elderly man on his knees praying to God. I can still picture this old man just bowing in complete and total praise to the Lord. It made me think how long has it been since I have bowed my knees before the Lord. What will it take for Americans to get back to that? How long has it been since we have just wept for the lost people of this world? How long has it been since we have just spent time on our knees just worshipping him and praising him for who he is? It is sad that it is rarely practiced in America anymore these days. I say that we need to get back to that.  I believe that is one of the many problems with America today.  What will it take for us to get back to that? Isn’t our nation in enough trouble already? So I challenge you as I challenge myself to get on our knees and pray for our nation, pray for lost souls, and to just spend time worshipping him. I know that he will bless that and it will please him. God just wants to hear from his children. So, right before we left Romania we all had some team changes.  So I now have a brand new team that I love so much. My wonderful team leader from my last team is now a squad leader.  I am still on an all-girls team. Our new team name is Jealously Divine, Glory Refined and the scripture that we used for it was 2 Corinthians 11:2.  We are staying at our contacts house this month. He is a pastor and he oversees many churches. I love his family so much. They have been cooking us some amazing meals. We have been teaching at a school this week and it has been awesome. The kids are so precious and I will miss them dearly. Here are a few more pictures from Moldova and I will post some Africa picuture on my next blog.  By the way I have offically met the deadline for October!! Thanks to everyone who made that happen this month!
