What’s up guys! I guess we should start from scratch? So you know when two people love each other very mu….I’m kidding. So I was born and raised in good ‘ole Pampa, Texas. I have four little sisters that are my LIFE. I also have two step-brothers that don’t even require the word “step” in their title to my life, and the sweetest sister in-law. I have two precious perfect nieces. I come from a large and close family. If it wasn’t for their love and support, I don’t know where I would be in life.

I work at Community Day Care Center. Let me tell ya, I. Love. My. Job. I think children are the best people you could hang out with all day, every day. Sure, working with three and four-year-olds can get a little overwhelming day in and day out, but it’s totally worth it. Every one of those kids has had an impact on my heart that I could never explain. I have absolutely no idea what I am going to do when I return from the world race, but I know I want to work with kids for the rest of my life. I also work part time at Easy’s Pop Shop which is a locally owned convenience and liquor store. I get to meet a lot of interesting people. I also love seeing the regular customers. I guess you could say I love to connect with people, whether they’re tiny innocent humans, or someone purchasing a bottle of vodka because they’ve had a rough week.

I come from a family of musicians. All of our family gatherings include everyone gathered around at the end of the night with a couple guitars and singing our hearts out. I love sunsets, and sunrises. I like to look at them and think about what God has done in my life. It’s like the sky is his canvas, and when I’m looking at it, it’s His painting. I know, I know… super cheesy. I love to cook. That doesn’t necessarily mean I’m good at it. I love being at home as much as I love hanging out.

I’ve had very few opportunities to travel. I went to NY city on a school choir trip in high school. I’ve also been to South Dakota to visit my very best friend. And of course I’ve been to Dallas and Austin, TX, and Oklahoma. Other than that, I’ve never really been anywhere. I am so excited to see the world and connect with different people all while doing God’s work!

The good Lord has big plans for little ‘ole Kaysha Dawn. She’s ready to climb whatever mountain He places before her.
