Enemies:
Bullies. Child abusers. Rapists. Racists. Murderers. Etc.

O God, how I wish you would kill the wicked!
How I wish violent people would leave me alone!
They say wicked things about you;
they speak evil things against your name.
O Lord, how I hate those who hate you!
How I despise those who rebel against you!
I hate them with a total hatred;
I regard them as my enemies.
Psalm 139: 19-22 (GNT)

God, your children aren’t your enemies. If your children aren’t your enemies then they shouldn’t be my enemies.

“You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your friends, hate your enemies.’ But now I tell you: love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may become the children of your Father in heaven. For he make his sun to shine on bad and good people alike, and gives rain to those who do good and to those who do evil.
Matthew 5:43-45 (GNT)

Papa, I’m so mad. How do I get let this pain and rage go? How can I love someone that has cut me so deeply I don’t know if I will ever heal.

Get rid of all bitterness, passion, and anger.No more shouting or insults, no more hateful feelings of any sort. Instead, be kind and tender-hearted to one another, and forgive one another, as God has forgiven you through Christ.

Ephesians 4:31-32 (GNT)

Above everything, love one another earnestly, because love covers over many sins.
1 Peter 4:8 (GNT)

For God did not send his Son into the world to be its judge, but to be its savior.
John 3:17

But God has shown us how much he loves us — it was while we were still sinners that Christ died for us!
Romans 5:8 (GNT)

Jesus, I cannot do this alone.

Examine me, O God, and know my mind;
test me, and discover my thoughts.
Find out if there is any evil in me and guide me in the everlasting way.
Psalms 139:23-24 (GNT)

Child, your enemy is not the person who broke your heart. Your enemy is not your parents who neglected you. Your enemy is not the person who raped you. Your enemy is not the person who had their hand on the trigger.Our enemy is Satan himself.

So then, submit yourselves to God.

Resist the Devil, and he will run away from you.

Come near to God, and he will come near to you.
James 4:7

Papa I pray for all the broken. I pray for healing over these hearts. I pray God that even when we’re in the dark we can look for your light. I pray that we stop entertaining the enemy’s games and remember that we have the victory already. I pray for forgiveness. I pray that when we see man we don’t see evil but we see children of God. Lord that when we see evil we see Satan. When we see Satan, I pray that we get our weapon ready. Not our weapons of guns and violence, not our weapons of slander and gossip, but our weapon of love, prayer, and your Word!

I pray for my family, that when they are angry at each other that they would remember that’s what the real enemy wants. When we see each other that we would see love and not pain. That we can forgive and and see Jesus.

Jesus I pray for Pampa, Texas that when they see each other they see you and your love. I pray that when they see pain and brokenness, they see Satan and stand firm against him in the name of Jesus and tell him to leave because he is not welcome here!

Lord I lift up our nation. When we see all the differences that we can see through your eyes. I pray to see children of God. When we see lies, murder, war, gangs, thieves, violence, racism, Jesus that we see that our enemy is not your children but Satan! I pray that we stand up together and say, “GET BEHIND US SATAN BECAUSE YOU ARE NOT WELCOME HERE! “

Do not let evil defeat you;
instead, conquer evil with good.
Romans 12:21 (GNT)
