Im gonna let it SHINE! Thats right! A song that I first learned when I was just a toddler in the church has made me come to the realization that I need to let MY light shine!
I have put off blogging the past couple of months because of fear. Fear of criticism, fear because I am not a writer and fear of letting my light shine.
Writing has always been my main struggle in school but I am not going to let it hinder me anymore. Today I overcome my fear of writing by posting this blog. In my blogs to come, I may not have the best grammar or spell every word correctly but from now own I will not let my fear of writing stop me from blogging and keeping all of you from following my journey.
These past couple of weeks my teammates have decided that we will blog about a certain topic each week leading up to our launch date. The topics from past weeks that I will be writing in the near future will be faith and obedience. This week the topic is on surrender.
I will be writing about these three topics this week and next to catch up. I am not going to let fear overcome me anymore.
It is time for me to let MY light SHINE!
Deuteronomy 31:6
Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.
