In March I was in Swaziland. I was placed in the town Manzini, Swaziland. We lived in a legit hut (below).
Yep! That round building is where my team of 7 lived for the month. This is what it looked liked from the inside…beware it was a little messy because we were about to pack up and leave.
We had legit outhouses that had no doors. Every morning we had to be strategic about the time we used the potty because of the local kids walking to school.
We had many pets around the compound. We had goats, chickens and chicks, and dogs. The occasional cow would wander in.
For ministry, I was placed at a Carepoint. The Carepoint that I was at had preschool during the morning from 10-12 and then I played with the children from 12-4. My main “job” was to love on these kids. During school hours we sang songs and acted out bible stories.

During the day the preeschoolers got fed 2 meal. One at 11am and one at 1:15. The older kids would arrive around 3pm after school to get lunch/dinner.
Even though I tried not to have favorites(like all good parents claim), I fell in love with Boy Boy (below).
And his sister Boniswa.

These are just a couple of the children that I got to spend my time with. I lost another piece of my heart, but it was totally worth it. And the picture below is pretty much how I spent my time; making faces and being silly.
