Romania has been a great first month. God has started working with me on different things that need to change in my life in order to be more like Jesus and to let him increase in my life. These things have happened through our ministry and through my team. In this first month I was able to love on Gypsy kids and their families, pray for the city of Targu Mures, pray for patients in the hospital, and pour into my team. I was able to do all this while being blessed to stay in a wonderful house with corn fields surrounding it. I was a little sad that I was going to miss my favorite season fall in Michigan but God provided a beautiful fall here in Romania. As I was walking to my ministry today I was able to walk through a corn field, and then I was blessed to walk through the city while crunching leaves under my feet. How perfect is our God that he provides everything we need for that day but also likes to Romance us with the little things in life too. This is a new concept for me, I always knew God loved me but I never thought about him wanting to romance me too. This is an entire new journey that I and God are taking together and I love it.

Gypsy Family

Today I was able to encourage and pour out love onto patients in the hospital. This time in the hospital was completely different than the last time I was there and thinking about my grandpa. Today I was able to go into the rooms of the patients and have my heart break for them. They are sitting in these rooms with blank boring walls, and anywhere from 5 to 6 beds in a room. I was able to let the Lord work through me today and bring a smile to these people and just show them that they are loved and cared for. Just praying for the patients and speaking truth over them you could see their spirits brighten up. It was such a blessing to be able to encourage the patients. I encourage you to pray for those around you and be an encouraging voice today.
This is my last blog for Romania; we will be in Moldova by next week. I’m excited to see what the Lord has planned for me in this next month. Until then please pray for healing over my teammates as many of them are getting sick, also for safe travels from Romania to Moldova. Also check out this video that my teammate Stephanie made of our time in Romania it really shows what it was like here for us this month.
