In a previous blog I talked about how my support account needed to reach $10,500 by Dec. 1st, and since November 15th I have not had internet.
I'm going to tell you a short story about how God is our ultimate provider and how He loves us so well. On the 15th of November me and my team travled to a village in Nepal for two weeks of ministry.I knew when leaving for the village I had about $8,000 in my support account and that I needed $10,500 by the next deadline in two weeks. In the village there was no internet for me to use, which meant I could not check my support account or send out e-mails asking people to donate. All I could do when it crossed my mind was to pray and trust that the Lord was going to provide. The word that the Lord kept giving me was that He is my provider.
On December 1st we arrived back in the city to a cafe to soak in some internet. The first thing I checked was my support account and it was at $10,644!! I screamed and got so excited with the girls on my team. I am so thankful for the people who donated and want to thank them from the bottom of my heart. I also want to thank the Anonymous donor who gave $2,500.
After celebrating this amazing thing with the girls on my team the Lord gave me the scripture in Philippians 4:19 (And my God will fully satisfy every need of yours according to his richesin glory in Christ Jesus. ) It is so true the Lord does provide for me and fully satisfy me. I'm completly humbled and blessed by how God provided this money for me and it proves to me this is exactly where he wants me to be. I still need $4,156 to be fully funded for my trip. I'm excited to see how the Lord is going to work in this because He is my provider.
Thank you for all the prayers and support you have given to me. please continue to pray and share my blog with your friends, family, and co-workers. We were given new teams last night so my next blog will introduce you to them. Please pray for safe travels as we head for India tomorrow!
I will leave you with a video treat that Stephanie made from our time in Nepal.
