Today on November 19th my red-headed leader turned 21! Don’t worry the only turning up happening here in Cambodia is for Jesus. Celebrating with cake, ice-cream, oreos, spaghetti, sparklers, dance parties, and nail painting.
Abigail in the bible (1 Samuel 25:2-42) teaches us that when life is hard, we can choose wisdom over fear. Humility gives us boldness, and she chooses discretion when to speak. She was intelligent & beautiful. And thats just what Abigail is.

1. She loves to be sun burned
2. She loves to cuddle (We sleep next to each other on this queen size piece of wood)
3. She loves pineapple(She eats it every morning)(She is a pro at cutting it now)
4. She loves chicken wings (Her fave food)
5. Her favorite ice-cream is cotton candy(Her second fave food)
6. She is obsessed with vinegar (One night she stayed up telling me all the benefits for vinegar)
7. Her favorite animal is a baluga whale (She has a stuffed animal she sleeps with)
8. She is a brave warrior (Picture the disney movie brave, yeah thats Abigail)
9. She is a fearless leader to 8 crazy girls
10. She is RADIANT. A word that describes her (She has it tattooed on her arm, a word someone spoke over her, and it fits perfectly)
11. She is a worshipper, a beautiful worshipper. So much freedom, when she worships.
12. She is an umbrella, the shade, a safe place to run to.
13. Abigails smile lights up the room, any where Abigail is there is joy and light.
14. She is a fighter, she fights for anyone she loves, she fights for our team so well, she scares away any spiritual warfare we face, the enemy flees when Abigail speaks.

17. She makes sure everyone feels known, heard, and loved. She is so invested into this team.
18. She has the best hair. Like really so beautiful.
19. She has so much wisdom, every word that comes out of her mouth is like Jesus is speaking, she is 21 but you couldn’t tell. She gives the best advice, she counsels, its all from love, and knowledge. She has grown so much from her race. She is wise.
20. She is a daughter, sister, leader, friend, and SOON TO BE WIFE!!
21. I love so much about Abigail but what I love the most is that she loves how Jesus would, she is a leader when she needs to be, a friend when she needs to be, and so much more. Abigail is someone I look up to, someone I long to be. She is inspiring. I love Abigail’s love for the Lord.
A letter to Abigail,
It has been the best time doing life with you, serving alongside you, learning from you, and laughing with you. From training camp to Cambodia, we’ve come so far. From doing ministry together, to facing fears on your-bike, to adventuring, to cooking together,(we make a good cooking team), to late night conversations and laughs. This team is so blessed to have you. You’ve led so well and it’s going to be heartbreaking when you leave us in a few weeks but I can’t wait til you leave so we can be friends. Hahahah, but really. You are a blessing. I am just so blessed God placed you in my life, I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Abigail you are a work of art, you are unique, you should feel admired today and everyday, you have value. Your brush strokes are beautiful and just as they were intended to be. You are beautiful and not because you look a certain way but because you live a certain way. You are sunshine in the rain and wisdom in the wilderness. Not because of who you are but because God is within you. I know this year is going to be a very exciting new adventure and I can’t wait to watch it fall into place. I pray so many blessings and beauty over you this year. You are loved Abigail. Thanks for being born.
