Today I had the opportunity to partake in something I have always wanted to be a part of and see what the other side looks like!
I had the chance to help with kids who have sponsors in the states. My family has a little girl who we support and I have always wondered what the other side is like. Do the donations, letters, and gifts really get to them?
Now I know from this partnership program in India what one program looks like. I got to help distribute books, uniforms, letters from kids sponsors, and get kids ready for school.
It was one of the sweetest days.
Kids would come in. They would give us their names. Then they would get a new uniform for school. They got a skirt, pants, shirts, and new shoes. Then they got new books for this upcoming school year. They came and took a photo for their back to school picture. Then they were handed a letter form their sponsor (if they had written one) and went on their way.

What an incredible opportunity that the Lord allowed me to be a part of. To love on kids who may not have a lot and see them excited for school, something some kids don’t have the opportunity to partake in. Thank you Lord!
