We were walking down the road and passed a little shop, where a woman was standing peering out from behind the counter.

We passed her, but believed that the Lord was calling us back to talk with her. We turned around and met her in her tiny 10 foot by 10 foot shop.

We introduced ourselves and told her that we are missionaries from America. We told her about the World Race and that we are living out of a back pack for the year to share the Gospel in eleven different countries.

We talked with her about her family and the business she was running. We asked her if she went to church and she responded with a joyful yes and that she loved Jesus. We told her we did too, and that was the entire reason we turned around to talk with her— because He told us too.

We shared a story from the Bible and a few words of encouragement. As we were about to leave, we asked if we could pray with her. She agreed. We asked if she had any prayer requests, and man were we in for a surprise.

She began to tell us that she had fallen in a gutter a few days before and was in immense pain. She had broken her leg and found it hard to walk.

We began to pray and asked the Lord to show up in mighty ways. We prayed that His will would be done. We prayed that the enemy would be cast out and wouldn’t be a distraction. We prayed for physical healing, but above all we prayed for spiritual healing. We finished praying and asked her how she was feeling.

Joy was beaming from her and she said, “I am totally fine and the pain is gone!”

While I was praying the Lord kept putting the word worship on my heart, but I wasn’t sure why. As soon as we finished, Ashley said, “I really believe we should sing a song and praise the Lord for what He just did.” Beautiful confirmation followed by praising the Lord together and thanking Him for the miracle He had just done.
