Hello from Haiti !!

My days here have been so super amazing and filled with lots of ministry and outreach. We have been working tons with the Gramons and children here in the community. We have done a lot of house visits and have literally gotten to put Mark 16:15 into action. I have recently started reading Romans with Lucie, Katie and Cat. I’ve learned a lot through reading just the first four chapters about what it means to not be ashamed of the Gospel, God’s righteousness for us and so much more. As I read through the 5th chapter, two verses really stuck out to me. Romans 5:3 “Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance: perseverance, character: and character, hope.” When we suffer we go through pain to get good character and a better and stronger faith. Romans 5:8 “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

This is the ultimate expression of love. This type of love can not be equaled out to.
I hope you enjoy these verses that stuck out to me!! Haiti has been so great and I can’t wait for what’s still to come !

Love, Kaylee
