The World Race isn’t about me. It is about Jesus and the incredible work that He plans to do through broken people such as you and me. It’s about His amazing love for every person, and the inherent value He sees in each individual. He doesn’t want anyone to go through life without knowing that they are deeply and fully loved, no matter what mistakes taint their past or how unworthy of that love they sometimes feel.
“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” – Romans 5:8
I’m so excited for the ways that God is going to use me to show people His unconditional love; and even more, for the ways that He’s going to use me to spread the Good News!
“The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free” – Luke 4:18
