I’m having to rely on God for a lot right now. But I know that He is faithful. So why do I still worry?? In prayer, I heard the lyrics from the song “Prophesy Your Promise” by Katie Torwalt. The lyric goes : “When I only see in part, I will prophesy your promise. I believe you God.” And I heard God asking me the question, “Do you believe me?”
I think the God who created the entire universe and designed each of us beautifully and uniquely, the one and only ALMIGHTY God.. can handle my financial problems.. right?! So yes God. I believe you.
I believe God when He says He knows our every need before we even speak it to Him. (Matthew 6:8) I believe Him when He says He cares about every little detail of our lives. (Psalm 37:23) I believe Him when He says He is our provider (Philippians 4:19) and He will take care of us. (Psalm 54: 4) (Matthew 6:26) (Isaiah 41:10) I believe Him when He tells me not to worry and to just pray. (Phillippians 4:6) And I believe Him when He says if I need something, and ask Him for it in faith, I will receive it. (Matthew 21:22)
