This month we are in Laos. I have to admit that before coming here I had never heard of this country. So yes I google searched it, and what I found sounded pretty cool. So I was excited to come here to see this country I had never heard of. Right before we got here we had team changes. I am now with a new team going to a new country and it all is very exciting. We found out we are doing unsung heroes. That means we try to find new contacts in the country for future teams to come and stay with. Laos is a closed country so I had little hope in my mind we would find anyone here. Well I was very wrong.

Within the first few days we made contact with a person who gave us so many people to talk to. (For the safety of all involved names will be changed.) So we contacted a married couple Stephanie and Justin. We met with them for dinner and quickly became friends. They told us that they just started to rent a house and they have a lot of yard work to get done. So we volunteered to help them out. I am so glad we did. They are such an amazing couple and they have blessed us so much. We got a lot of work done for them on their yard and it looks really good. I am so excited to see how things go later for them having teams there. Any team that stays with them in the future will be so lucky. They are a great contact to find.

Now we are heading up north to meet with some more potential contacts. It is going to be a time filled with connecting to the people here in Laos and seeing what the need is and how we can help. I am so blown away by how our Father is blessing us this month. For a country that I didn’t think we would find anything, we have found more than we can even handle. I love the way our Father surprises us every day. He is really taking care of us this month.
