Who knew that the best/worst night at training camp would be when we are all stuck on a school bus together. Ok so let me set the picture for you. One school bus, 55 people, 55 hiking packs, and 55 day packs. Everyone had to be on the bus with all of their belongings all night. A school bus only has seating for 40 people. Our packs are on average about 60-70 liters. They took up the back 3 rows of the bus. So sleeping was very hard. There was about 12 of us on the floor with knees to chest to sleep. Then the others were in the seats squished together. There were a few sleeping on the stairs of the bus. It was defiantly an interesting night. I couldn't sleep so I stood up the whole night so the person in front of me had more room. Jordan stood up with me and we talked the whole night. I was so glad to get to know her way better. We also sang songs and just joked around. It was so fun!

The main thing that made it a great night is the attitude of my whole team. We all could have complained and made it out to be the worst thing ever. But we all kept a great attitude, and when you could feel tension rising we all prayed together. Everyone showed how flexible they are to different situations. I have gained so much respect for everyone on my squad. They all have a heart of a servant and it really showed that night. I feel like we all bonded that night, and it only got better the rest of the week. My team is amazing in their attitudes towards every single thing that comes up. I can only thank God for the wonderful people I will be traveling with.
