All I can do is give Praise to the best Father EVER!! Today I learned a lesson in such a small but very effective way. God is opening my eyes more and more to his power and glory in such small ways that if I blinked I could almost miss them.
Today I went to the eye doctor for a follow up appointment for dry eyes. Well my doctor put plugs into the small hole in the cornor of my eye. That will keep the tears from draining out of my eyes and keep my eyes from itching so bad, There are days were my eyes itch so much I rub them raw. Well I haven't itched them in a few hours. I know that sounds silly, but it is a huge thing for me. It has become a habbit to itch my eyes all the time.
I realized today that God is that plug. He is keeping my faith from being itchy. It wont keep running out. It will stay were it is needed. He is the one who hold me in place. Without his help I will be like a dry desert, like my eyes have felt like for years. Without God in my life I wouldn't realize all the joy he can bring in such small ways. I am so thankful for him being that plug for me from the things that can hurt me after to much itching. It is great that he will put himself in the way of things that can do damage after a long period of time. I just can't wait to see the joy he will keep bringing me in small ways! Praise God!
