Hello beautiful people! My name is Kaylee Meline and I am so ecstatic to start this journey!
I am 22 years old and I am from Windsor, Colorado. I was born and raised here, but did attend school in Oregon and Arizona (GCU) Go Lopes! I love being outside where there is less buildings and more nature and wildlife. My favorite activity right now is hammocking; I can’t get enough of it! So many things have impacted me in my life and I cant wait to share this journey with you.
I consider Foundations Church in Loveland, Colorado my home. Everyone there is my family; they support me,love me, guide me, and challenge me. I am currently a weekender for the NEXTGEN team. Meaning I work with kids K-3rd grade. This age group revives/refuels me! I love how how this age group will tell you anything that is going on in their lives without hesitation. They remind me that life can be simple. I am also a high school youth leader for the church and that program is called Merge. This age group pushes me to go out of my comfort zone, and they teach me just as much! Shout out to my senior group;) I also attend a college/young career group called Ascent. I am creating a family here with others my age and we get to do life together.
I recently went on my first mission trip to Oregon with some of the people from the Ascent group. I had expectations going into it and God exceeded them and of course in the way He wanted things to go down. Through that trip not only did I overcome some of my fears and took major stepping stones in how I see God, myself, and past experiences but He used that to prepare my heart and mind to be willing to take this next journey with World Races! I am in love with how Papa rocks my world!
I am trying not to go into this with any expectations. If you know me, you know that it is very hard for me to do that. I know it is going to be life changing no matter what! The only thing that I can say with out setting specific standards is that I want to grow spiritually, emotionally/mentally, and physically.
