It has been awhile since I have posted a blog on here and a lot has happened in the time since my last blog post. So I’m going to write a few blogs on here before Christmas to catch you all up to speed. But one of the most exciting things that has happened recently is…..drumroll please…..
I AM FULLY FUNDED!!!
“Praise the Lord! Oh give thanks to the Lord, for He is good, for His steadfast love endures forever!” (Psalm 106:1)
“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change” (James 1:17).
First, I just want to take a moment to praise God. Wow. $18,600 sounded daunting to me, but we serve a God of unlimited resources and abounding, steadfast love for us. Without His provision and plan, this journey would not have come to fruition. I also want to thank each and every person who has come alongside me in this journey through prayer, financial support, and encouragement. Words really cannot express how grateful I am for all of you. Your generosity and kindness has overwhelmed me at times and has brought me to tears. I have seen Jesus in so many ways through you, and for that I am very grateful.
This fundraising journey has been filled with so many lessons. Fundraising is no joke: spiritual attacks, doubt, frustration, feelings of rejection and comparison. All of these things have happened in this past year when I tried to rely on myself, but when I truly trusted God, He always came through. For example, the few weeks leading up to training camp I did not raise much financial support despite my efforts. I was getting down on myself and comparison crept its way in as I heard stories of my squad mates raising all of their support. During my quiet times I would ask God to take these feelings away and to renew my trust in His provision and timing. What is so cool about this is that despite me doing NOTHING to fundraise, God brought in the most amount of financial support during training camp than during any other time during this process. God definitely humbled me and showed me that ultimately He is in control and has everything in His care.
Overall, this fundraising process has been a time of immense growth and beauty, and I am very grateful for having experienced it. (Although, I am also very thankful to be done! Haha) I am so thankful to be traveling around the world for His Name’s sake and am grateful that YOU get to be a part of sharing Jesus to so many different people and groups.
*** A few things to note:
Since I am fully funded, please do not donate further to my trip, but if you would like to donate further, a few of my squad mates are not quite fully funded. To join their support team you can click their names below to open up their blogs to donate.

In the next few blogs I’ll share a little more about my time in Vietnam, as well as introduce you to my new team and share what we are currently doing in Cambodia. (More pictures to come!) Thanks for following along and for your continued prayers! I am blessed beyond what I could have imagined by you all!
