As a little kid, adults constantly asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I would say I want to be a famous singer! (Just like every other 1st grade girl at that time). The difference was, I always said I wanted to use that money I earned from being this “famous singer” to visit and help out countries in need. Ever since this young age, God had put an overwhelming desire for missionary work in my heart, and I am excited to finally see this dream turn into a reality through this program.
I believe it is important to start my adult life on the right foot. These next 9 months will be dedicated to serving God without the usual distractions of my day to day life. Through the past few years, I have realized what a life centered around Christ really needs to looks like and have seen changes in ways I never thought were possible. In this upcoming year, I am excited to see the way God continues to transform my life and use my amazing team and I in a way to glorify Him.
Starting September of 2018 I will be traveling across the world to Thailand, Malaysia, Costa Rica and Ecuador. There I will be living out God’s purpose the only way I know how, through serving others. God will be using me as a teacher, a musician, a leader, an evangelist, a painter, and a builder for his kingdom. These countries are broken by corruption, poverty and the large amounts of sexual exploitation of young children and need our help!
