09.26.18 MINISTRY
We cut down tress and did more weeding. We saw St. Cloud (the dog that hangs out around the orphanage) who is adorable and in the picture below. Then for lunch, our ministry host treated us to this spicy beans and meat dish from a restaurant down the street.

09.27.18 MINISTRY
Today, we finished our work from yesterday and continued to cut down trees and weed.
09.28.18 LESSONS
We all went to the common room for lessons and learned about freedom.
09.29.18 MINISTRY
Today, I found out I’m allergic to passion fruit, so that was fun. I’m completely fine now, so don't worry. Also, We got to go to the actual orphanage today. The kids were all super cute and we played so many games. We ran around and played tag, they braided our hair and at one point I was a human junglejim. Then the house moms made us the best meal I have ever eaten (tied with my mom’s famous pot pie) called Massaman Curry with sweet potatoes. My mouth is watering just thinking about it, but that also might be because I’m on that world race budget so you already know I’m hungry.

09.30.18 ADVENTURE DAY
Today wasn’t a crazy adventure day. I didn’t go bungee jumping or swimming with sharks, but it was so much fun. In the morning, me and some friends went to a cafe called About Pencil. We showed up and there was a ball pit and coffee with clouds on top.
10.02.18 REST DAY
We found a super cool cafe called Phuffin in the Lake. It was a cafe right off the lake about 20 minutes from us. There were hammocks the extended from the dock area to over the lake and hammocks surrounded by the trees. It was extremely relaxing and an off day well spent.
10.02.18 MINISTRY
Our ministry today was out of the usual. After we arrived, they took us on an hour long ride to the Hill Tribe Villages where some of the children in the orphanage came from. It was filled with stray animals and wooden houses. It was a buddhist village, but right outside of the village was a christian church where all we could hear were people singing their hearts out and praying to God. Although this area was primarily buddhist, it was amazing to see where God was working.
