09.19.18 MINISTRY
Today was our second day of ministry! We did more landscaping work for the orphanage! Then for lunch our ministry host took us to get Khao Soi (an amazing Thai soup), then he surprised us with banana bread! Today was a good day!
09.20.18 MINISTRY
We mixed and poured cement. Then we got sent home early because of the heavy rain.
09.21.18 LESSONS
Today was our lessons day of the week. Our leaders taught us about the importance of giving feedback to one another. So we spent about an hour writing sweet notes for people on the squad. All the notes written were taped up covering one of the walls in the common room.
09.22.18 MINISTRY
We went to the orphanage and hung out with the kids. They laughed at the little Thai I spoke. Their smiles were so bright and made all of the hard work more than worth it. They greeted us with hugs as we walked through the door.
09.23.18 ADVENTURE DAY
Today was an adventure day. I went to the Hedgehog cafe. Then, I got some art supplies so I could start painting again.
09.24.18 REST DAY
We went to a lake to relax. You could see the mountains in the distance over the water. We rented rafts and ate lunch in a super cute hut.
09.25.18 MINISTRY
Today we had a hard day of mixing and pouring cement. It is amazing to see how well my team is learning to work together. After we got home we walked down the street to the flower market.
