It’s a new year! I’m thankful for all that 2018 gave me and I’m super excited to see what the Lord has planned for me in 2019. The only tradition my family really has for New Year’s is for each of us to come up with a goal for the new year. This past year we committed to a family goal to read the entire bible. I’m proud to say that all 7 of us reached our goal! I haven’t came up with a goal for 2019 yet. I mean graduating this year is a goal. To be fully funded before launch is DEFINITELY a goal! Growing in my walk and maturity with Christ is a goal but that’s one that is never ending. I definitely wanna love people more, ALL people. I want to make an impact while on the mission field. Not for myself but for His glory. I’m seriously so stoked to see what this year and the World Race has for me! I know it will be life changing and I’m ready to be wrecked! Anyone that knows me knows that I LOVE any and everything girly…clothes, shoes, makeup, purses, perfume, hair, jewelry, accessories and my phone. I cannot wait to not stress over what I’m wearing and how I look. Do these shoes look good with that, do these earrings match, is my hair cute? To lose the vanity and concern of my outer appearance. To focus on what really matters, the Kingdom. To live and love and serve without all the earthly distractions. To be the hands and feet of Jesus. To not just say I’m a Christian but to live it out so that all who see me know that He lives in me. Lord, have your way in me. I pray that you all have a blessed and fruitful New Year!
