A couple weekends ago I got to have the adventure of a life time. I went to an island called Rabbit island and it was by far one of the coolest things I have ever experience. In order to get to the island you have to go on a 30 min boat ride. The boat ride felt much shorter. The breeze mixed with the incredible view left me amazed at how good our God is.
Most of the day I spent in a chair taking in the sun, the sound of the waves, and the beauty that surrounded me. As the day came to an end one of the girls had heard there were bioluminescent plankton. A man that lived on the island offered to show us were the plankton were, so we followed him through the dark woods over to where the plankton were supposed to be. As we were walking over, I started to listen to the sounds of the crickets, the rustling of the palm trees, and the wave in the distance. It was a sound I wish I could listen to all the time. It was so calming and peaceful. When we got to the beach with the plankton everyone ran into the water. You couldn’t see the plankton from the beach but as soon as you ran into the water the plankton would light up all around you. It was amazing how with each step I took or ever ripple that I made it lit up with what looked like little turquoise lightning bugs. It’s was breathtaking. After a while I went back up to the beach and listened once more to the nature. I began to thank God and as I did God spoke to me. He said “ Kayla my daughter. I made all this for you so that you could enjoy it. I made this all for you! Enjoy it and praise.” I became over whelmed with joy of the Lord. He made all of this so that I may enjoy it! He loves me so much that he would make all of this for me.
My God is a good God. He loves all of us! We are all his children and he wants us to have his joyful spirit! Remember he see’s beauty in ashes. He see’s beauty in the brokenness! The beauty in the Lord is that he meets us where we are at. He doesn’t tell us become perfect and then you can have a relationship with him.
He says come to me broken and I will make you whole.
He says come to me and I will make you new.
He says come to me and I will bring joy and thanksgiving.
Rejoice in the Lord and he will bless and restore you to who HE calls you to be.
God says life is JOY! It is the HOLY SPIRIT LIVING IN US! We can give all of the pain of the world over to the Lord because it is not ours to carry any longer. Jesus died so that we could have life. Jesus died so that we may have a relationship. Jesus died for our anger, shame, Jealousy, and all other burdens. They ARE HIS! Do not hold on to these things! Give them to the Lord he wants them, he died for them! Jesus died as you! Know live for him and pray God makes you look like him! Thank God for turning low places into his ministry! Thank God that when we ask him in to are heart we now have what he has! Life is hard and in the holiday season we can loose track of the means behind the holiday. But I encourage you to dig deep and thank the Lord for all he has done for you and if you are going through a hard time remember it is a season. God can and will carry you through the season good and bad. And he will bless you for praising him in hard season. Ask The father for a double portion of his love and grace in hard season. And don’t forget to back into the father! GOD IS GOOD! OUR GOD IS GOOD! HE LOVES YOU! AND HE MADE YOU! RUN TO THE FATHER!
