So this is my first of many blog posts. I am excited to announce that God has placed an opportunity in front of me, that will take me across the globe, enable me to love on all kinds of people and give me the chance to grow in my relationship with Him. I will be traveling to several continents worldwide as part of a bigger effort to be the hands and feet of Christ. You can learn more about the details around my specific “race” on this site. I am not naive in thinking this will be easy or always fun, but God doesn’t always call us to easy. In fact, I feel some of my most difficult adventures (if you can call them that), were God ordained and He showed Himself faithful through the storms. I know that this too will be a growing experience for me and I can only hope I am afforded the opportunity to make a difference in others lives, as I am certain they will make a difference in mine. I thank you always for your support and prayers as I prepare to take this journey. I will be leaving September 9th and will be gone for a full 9 months, so prayers are more than necessary. I still doubt my own abilities but God in me is more than I think I yet realize.
