Here is a little about me…
To start off with… I have a wonderful support system of family and friends!
Here is my family…
This is my dad, my mom, my older brother Phil, my sister-in-law Kelly, my little brother Andrew, and me.
I will have a nephew born in August 
I was raised on a farm in rural Illinois.
I work at a daycare with 2 year olds.
I attend Eastern Illinois University majoring in Family and Consumer Sciences for Family Services. I am not quite sure what my future holds, but maybe that is something I will figure out over the course of this race. Right now I am interested in working for a Christian nonprofit that works with communitites and organizations internationally.
While at Eastern, I attend a campus ministry called Christian Campus House.
I have grown so much there and met so many great people!

Some other random facts:
I enjoy reading, running, and spending as much time with my friends and famly as I can.
I always stay busy… any free moments in my schedule do not stay empty very long.
I love puzzles!
I also love playing the guitar, but can only play about 5 songs right now… something I am working on!
I would like to learn sign language and be able to sign fluently someday.
I have a fear of drowning so I never swim or do anything fun like that.
I also don't like amusement park rides.
I love sports.
A friend taught me how to solve a Rubik's cube!
I love music!
I wish I could dance!
The town I grew up in is the home of the original Burger King…its a lot different than the chain! Its better!

Games: Yahtzee, Banana Grams, and Taboo… I basically love playing any game though.
