Introducing TEAM AGAPETOS!

These 7 beautiful people will be my team that I will be serving with while on the Race these next 11 months. We met in October during Training Camp in Georgia (I know, I have been terrible at blogging. Sorry. Our team has already vowed to be better at this). We chose the name "Agapetos" which roughly translates to "beloved."  We want to live into that this year as we discover and share freedom and our true identity in Christ. We are His Beloved.

We met a couple of nights ago at Launch (time in DC before we head out) as a team to discuss what we want this next year to look like. It was so apparent that God was shaping and uniting and molding our team's hearts and desires while we were away from each

other between Training Camp and now.  Something God revealed to me at Training Camp was that I have been living like an orphan for years. I have the most loving, most supportive mom and dad I could imagine, and I have depended on them a lot over my lifetime.  But I realized I do not fully allow God to be my Father. Just like my parents, He wants to shower me and spoil me.  Just like my parents, He wants to give me the absolute best, and I believe this team is that. God's absolute best design and plan to grow us into a deeper, more loving, more intimate relationship with Him.  I love them so much already.

AND ALSO INTRODUCING…

Agape, our team mascot!  Agape will be traveling with us around the world,
having adventures and helping us share God's love–sacrificial, never-ending,abundant love–with everyone we meet.  His friends are back home in Indianapolis with some of my babysitting kids (miss you all!) so they can have adventures, too, as they show love to people in Indianapolis.  Agape will be appearing in pictures on this blog, and he hopes his friends will send him pictures of their adventures, as well ([email protected])!

Please pray for my team and N-Squad (the other 60 people traveling with us) as we head to our first country today–ECUADOR!   And follow my teammates blogs (to the left) throughout the year. They have some great stuff to say.  Love you all!
