Wow! So much catching up to do! And training camp is only in a few days!
First off – I’ll repeat the new order for the countries:
Guatemala
Nicaragua
Philippines
Vietnam
Thailand/Burma
India (!)
Nepal
Botswana
Swaziland
+ 2 more still to be arranged. (Possibly Europe?)
So, because there are so many countries and so few weeks left, I won’t continue researching one country per week over the summer, but I will do that before we enter each country over the year.
Second – Why?
The World Race has received the opportunity to create a documentary/TV show, showing the work God is doing all over the world!! Our squad was selected to be – you might say – a guinea pig for this potential project. We will have cameras with us 6 weeks out of the year, as they see whether this project can come to actualization. These new countries are interested/able to take part in this project with us. This is incredibly exciting (and very different…at least for me) and I’ve spent a lot of time in prayer as God assures me that I am where I am supposed to be.
This is not within my comfort zone at all, and I tried many times to pull myself away, including shooting an email to my mobilizer the minute that I heard the news, demanding I be moved to a different squad. However, God kept pulling me back or stalling my decision.
Have you ever experienced a situation like that? It can get pretty funny. Sometimes I remind myself of Gideon. If you don’t know that story look it up because it is amazing! And so relatable!
So here I am! And I am completely trusting Him! So, please pray for this project. Pray that God’s will be done, and that it is honoring to Him.

Please be praying for us in our preparation, and for training camp, which is the first time we will all meet each other and hopefully an opportunity for tremendous growth. And please pray for me this next month (and year) that I can keep my focus on God and trust Him with everything that is going on.
