It’s crazy to think that I applied for the World Race 35 weeks ago and now I’m less than 24 hours away from leaving! The time between training camp and now was spent with my family, friends, and others that are very dear to my heart. It was wonderful getting to spend the last two months with people that I will miss so much!
Sittint here less that 24 hours away from leaving..I can say that I am SO EXCITED. I have been waiting for this for so long and it’s finally here.
WHAT THE HECCCKKKKKK.
Oddly, I am ready to dive into a deep sea of unknown (that will be FULL of Him) and discover what lies beneath the surface.
He’s taught me how to be excited for the unknown simply because I can know for a fact that He’s there and He’s waiting for me to join Him.
He’s waiting for me to take His hand and walk with Him to the places where He wants to reveal His glory and beauty and all the good things that He has for His children.
I know that I will never slip from His sight, I know that there’s not only single moment that He’s forgotten about me and I know that in the end, I am His.
I’m not ever sure what to expect of the World Race..but I know that whatever happens ahead of me is for the purpose of building His kingdom and I don’t wanna waste any time gettin’ there!
Lastly, I know that whatever the race brings, He makes all things work for my good.
I can’t wait to watch Him work through my Squad and my team through these next 11 months as we learn what it means to share His love around the world.
