My team had an open-heart surgery after a week of being
here. We all spoke out where our hearts are. I realized that my issue was that
I let my parts of my mind sink back into a worldly mindset. I was letting my
mind wander to things of the past, things I miss from last month, things and
people that I miss from home, and memories.
One of the things we do every night is spend team time
together. We speak life into one another, we give feedback on things that have
happened throughout the day, and we just love on each other. This month we have
been able to be a little more creative and do some charades and other games,
which anyone that knows me knows how much I like to win.. uh, I mean play games
:). Anyway, we had our team time and Marcie posed the question, “how is your
heart doing?”
As we all spoke out our heart conditions in the current
moment, we realized there was a frustration in each of us. There was something
clogging our arteries from letting the cleansing blood of Jesus run through us.
Coincidentally it was something that each of us had let creep in and keep us
from trusting the Lord in a situation or area in our life.
The awesome thing about speaking is that the Lord has given
us power in our words. As children of the Most High God, we walk in authority
on this earth and when we speak with the name of Jesus we are unlimited to His
heavenly blessings.
Ephesians 1:3 tells us that we are “blessed with every
spiritual blessing in the heavenly places.”
So we speak out our hearts and each of us suddenly realize
we are surgeons. The Lord speaks to each and every child of his. His sheep know
His voice. In that, we each hear from the Father and are able to speak life and
healing and peace and freedom into our teammates. So, we have the tools to
work. As each team member shared their heart, we went to work with our tools
and cleaned up the clogged arteries so the cleansing blood can once again flow
freely through the body.
This is what it looks like to love, choosing to lift your
brother when they lay their weaknesses on the table. You each have the tools to
bring the love of the father to those around you. So get to work surgeons,
there are a lot of people that need the cleansing blood to flow through them.
Matthew 9:37 “Then He said to His disciples, “the harvest is
plentiful, but the workers are few.”
Ephesians 4:15-16 “but speaking the truth in love, we are to
grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ, from whom the
whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according
to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body
for the building up of itself in love.”
FOR THOSE OF YOU READING MY BLOGS!!
I have a deadline approaching in about 2 weeks. On October 1st, my support account must be at $11,000 otherwise I will no longer be able to continue on my world race. Currently my support account is at $8,773. So I am still in need of $2,227. I know I am meant to be here and I know that my God will provide. I don’t know, however, who He is wanting to use. So I ask that it be you. I ask that you consider investing in the Kingdom. Thank you for your support!
