A declaration of faith
This month one of the things the Lord has been teaching me
is the power of our words. Not just to others but also the words we speak over
ourselves. I put together a declaration for myself and I want to share it with
those of you who read my blog. It is important that we don’t see ourselves as
the world see’s us, but rather as God see’s us.
I have the power and
authority to break chains and bondage. I speak against my fears. God has not
created the Spirit of fear but rather the Spirit of Peace and a sound mind. I
am a royal heir and part of my inheritance is the seal of the Holy Spirit in
me. With that I am equipped and empowered. My words are a weapon against Satan.
I speak scriptures with the authority that God has given me. I speak with
boldness and confidence knowing how much my Heavenly Father is faithful and
supplies all my needs because of His abundant love for me. I continue to
identify the fears that attempt to hold me back or wander in my mind. I take
hold of them and cast them out with the sword my Father has given me, that is
the word of God. I speak specifically. I will no longer live in fear of
___________ because my God gives me peace and a sound mind. My Father gives me
good gifts and I will no longer fear ___________ because it is not something
given to me by my Father. I refuse to live in fear of anything on this earth
except fear in reverence to my Holy and Righteous and Faithful God.
I encourage you to take hold of the things that stir up fear
or anxiety in your life and cast them out. A few of the things I have spoken
against are: shame, disappointing others, failure, public speaking, missing
opportunities, comparison, and not being good enough. Just to name a few. God
wants to be your everything but you have the choice to let him. He wants to
heal the broken parts of your heart but it is up to you to let Him work. He is
good and faithful and His love for you is perfect. Press in to what He has for
you.
This is my team’s last week in Nicaragua before heading to
Romania. We have been blessed to be here and work in ministry with several
Pastors. God is been healing my team and as a result we have been able to bring
more healing to those we’ve come in contact with. Wednesday the team went to a
rehabilitation center for recovering drug addicts and alcoholics and the
freedom the Lord brought to those men through us was a lifetime change. I am
humbled to be a messenger of the Lord and a vessel at His use. Thank you for
your prayer and support to help make me being here possible! I’m only $200 away from meeting my October 1st deadline!!
