Today marks two years since I have been home from the World Race…
TWO YEARS!
Where has time gone?!? I feel like it was such a blur and sometimes I wonder if I even left. However, it was such an experience I don’t think I could ever forget! I learned so much about myself and about the heart of the Father while on the World Race. I went out to “change the world” but in reality I came back a changed woman.
It’s been two years and I am still here. I believe in Adventures in Missions and The World Race and what they represent. I love that it calls people to come and be a part of what God is doing around the world! The World Race doesn’t go to places to change what is going on… We come along side what God is already doing there!
What an honor to be called into the Father’s work!
I am able to mobilize a generation to go out into the world. I get to help future Racers get prepared to go. I absolutely LOVE what I do! I get to talk with 20 something’s all day, every day. I get to encourage them when they don’t have anyone. I get to pray with them when they need it. I get to check in on them and help make sure they are equipped to go.
I get to invest in people.
THAT is why I do what I do – to help a generation know their true identity in God. I may sit at a desk and answer phones and e-mails but God calls people to do that too.
My life is full of wonder and excitement and joy and love and adventure and I wouldn’t have it any other way!
Thanks for all of your support and encouragement over the past 3 years! I would not be where I am without every one of you!
The very first World Race Squad I worked with is in their 6th month on the field – watch this video from the World Race that explains a bit more of what the World Race is and it also has a few of them in it. (:
