I had the amazing priveledge to work in the baby room at ICC. We have 20ish babies from the ages of new born to 2. I thought I would tell you about a few of them who really stole my heart: (Names changed)
Peter a.k.a. Old Man: Peter is 2 and he is one smart cookie! He has a hard time seeing because of a facial deformaty however, he knows whenever you put something in front of him. He understands right and left and has a cute smile. Pray for mobility and motivation for Peter. Also pray for adoption.
Hannah: Hannah is only 2 months old. I named her Hannah because she has big beautiful brown eyes like my friend Hannah at home. Baby H’s mother had hep c and herpies and gave her up for adoption. They are in the process of testing Hannah. Pray not only for health but complete healing and adoption.
Old Lady: OL got her name because on our first day tour she and Peter and Old Lady were sitting side by side in their chairs watching all the other kids and they looked like an old married couple. She is 1 year old and has cerebrial palsey. Old Lady has one of the most joyous smiles and laughs ever. Pray for attention for her from the aids and adotpion.
James: James was new to the group. He arived the last week we were there and stole my heart from the beginning. He is 2 months old and has down syndrome. Pray for him not to get lost in the group. Pray for health and adoption.
