Sailboats are my new thing. There was a shirt my grandma wore EVERY chance she had that was covered in sailboats and it was ugly, but she loved it. When she passed away, my sisters, my mom and I got a sailboat tattoo on our foot. Now I’m drawn to sailboats every time I see one, I just can’t help myself. Lately, however, I’ve been thinking about sailboats in a different light.
Sailboats are a form of transportation. They move people and things from one place to another. Sailboats are VESSELS.
I’ve been telling a lot of people lately that that’s what I am, I am a vessel. I am the hands and feet. I said, “Yes” to God. I said, “my life for YOUR fame.” I am not qualified to do what He has called me to do, I didn’t go to school or anything. I am available. I asked God to make me useable. And I am so thankful that He has. He will give me all the strength, all the words, all the love I need to go. He qualifies those He has called, His vessels.
Some people cannot go be sailboats, they cannot be the vessels. As much as you may want to things prevent you, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t BRING KINGDOM. You can, by investing in vessels, by partnering with vessels. When you partner with someone, it’s more than just donating money so they can go on a vacation and you get a tax write off. Partnering with a vessel allows YOU the opportunity to be a part of bringing kingdom, and making Him known. Your investment is an investment in the Kingdom.
Let me be your vessel to bring kingdom. The World Race is an adventure in a lifetime and yes, I will see amazing things BUT that’s not the goal of the World Race, that’s not my agenda. My heart, my passion is for missions, to love like He loves, to serve, to make Him known.
